Position Description & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Vice President of North America Marketing, the Business Development Manager will lead a team of Sales Development Representatives to achieve key business goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis. Key responsibilities for this position include recruiting, hiring and training new SDR personnel, managing to established metrics and coaching on proper qualification criteria all in an effort to maximize QSO volume and maintain SLA’s against inbound Marketing qualified leads in a rapidly growing sales environment.

  • Provide daily leadership and motivation to the Sales Development team
  • Hire, train, mentor and provide coaching that continually improves the teams’ ability to identify and qualify target prospects.
  • Consistently meet or exceed quota and non-quota based performance objectives
  • Continually monitor the activities of direct reports and provide guidance and direction as needed to achieve (and exceed) daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly QSO quotas
  • Aide SDRs in communicating the value of Dynatrace solutions, while navigating fortune 5000 company hierarchies.
  • Manage SDR territory coverage for a growing field sales team and collaborate with sales leadership on a regular basis
  • Maintain expertise on company's products as well as that of our competitors.
  • Manage lead routing issues as they pertain to the North American named accounts
  • Conduct weekly individual focus session to review SDR activity, QSO production and QSO pipeline.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of sales/business development experience (3 in a management role)
  • Candidates should be comfortable with Internet technologies (preferred)
  • Able to demonstrate track record of success
  • Highly motivated and professional with excellent communication skills, highly confident and goal oriented
  • Comfortable communicating with senior level management
  • Experience with MS Office products and Salesforce.com
  • Must have high ethics and integrity, and have a desire to be part of a rapidly growing sales and support organization
