Position Description & Responsibilities

Dynatrace is looking for a high energy communications professional responsible for driving results-oriented PR in a fast-paced environment, and driving external communication programs that establish Dynatrace’s leadership in the digital performance management space.

 

This role reports to the Senior Director of Brand and Communications, and serves as a member of the broader world-wide marketing team.

 

  • Building a comprehensive media strategy and overseeing planning, execution and management of communications for Dynatrace globally, in a co-ordinated effort with broader brand campaigns and management.
  • Managing the day to day execution, strategies and outcomes of two global PR agencies in North America and United Kingdom.
  • Disseminate global PR campaigns to regional PR and marketing teams for localization and dissemination, collect and report back on global results.
  • Forging new relationships with strategic media and influencer groups, in a co-ordinated effort with PR agencies and leadership.
  • Support organizational brand campaign planning as needed.
  • Developing external thought leadership and communications plans to enhance Dynatrace’s reputation and drive brand preference.
  • Developing strategies to respond to major public issues (as needed) that provide an opportunity for Dynatrace to position itself as an expert and thought leader in its field
  • Benchmark, measure and regularly report in to management on PR outcomes and learnings
  • Track and report on new trends and issues affecting the industry.
  • Assist in the development of planning and executing on a corporate crisis management program and process.
  • Measuring all programs and adjusting plans as necessary for optimal results and success.

 

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience and success in tech B2B PR
  • Beyond exceptional writing skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced marketing environment with diverse content matter – from big business messaging to technical product detail
  • Business acumen
  • Team player, sense of humour and ability to dig in and work alone when it’s go-time.
