Position Description & Responsibilities

We are growing our Worldwide Strategic Alliances teams and are looking for a technical expert/advocate with cloud background with the drive to help the market-leader in cloud monitoring to excel further.  In your role you will work as the technical liaison between our strategic technology partners (Google, Microsoft, Red Hat, Amazon …), our field team and our global R&D organisation. In a small and super effective team you will work together with our strategic business development and innovation lab to bring the latest technologies successfully to the market.  

 

  • Work with the technical partner organisation on joint implementation projects
  • Educate the professional services and field organisation on Dynatrace technologies
  • Work on joint demo and proof of concepts. 
  • Help joint accounts to be success and become strong references. 
  • Evangelise within the partner organisation and the ecosystem the joint value to drive business opportunities
  • Build a technical partnership from concept to a sellable solution
  • Building a strong network of technical influences 
  • Actively engage with the technology community speaking at conferences, meetups and partner events
  • Support open source projects and participate in relevant online communities

Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in a software related field or similar expertise. (You should know how to build software, although it will not be a key part of your job. You should feel comfortable building demos and small prototypes)
  • Experience in cloud computing, continuous deliver platforms and modern development technologies
  • 5+ years experience in a senior technical role with customer interaction (ideally pre sales or consulting experience)
  • Ability to present to technical peers on a technical and business level
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Excel in working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to communicate complex matters in an easy to understand and structure way
  • Experience speaking in front of technical and business audiences (meetups, conferences)
  • Willingness to travel to local communities, partners and events
