Dynatrace is ranked #1 in a market where there is still a vast opportunity to capitalize. We are seeking an energetic Associate Account Representative to assist in execution of the Global Account strategic plan within Microsoft.


The Associate Account Representative is expected to generate qualified opportunities within Microsoft, one of the largest Dynatrace customers across the world. Candidates should be experienced in selling software solutions to executives at either large or small companies and enjoy getting to know the “ins and outs” of a technology and communicating the value it can bring to the marketplace. Candidates should be able to operate independently and make timely decisions in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment. Creative, energetic and a self-starter, intimately familiar with the enterprise sales cycle and can use solutions-based software sales skills to drive deals forward and compress decision cycles.


  • Work with the Microsoft Account Executive to consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue goals.
  • Work with Microsoft Account Executive to develop and execute upon strategic account plan.
  • Maintain existing properties within Microsoft, grow install base and target net new properties to include the entire Dynatrace portfolio.
  • Develop and meet defined sales and profitability targets.
  • Act as a source of expertise and lead own sales area.
  • Coordinate sales activities/functions and collaborate with global Microsoft team.
  • Set function/program goals, manage cost performance and ensure achievement through people and processes.
  • Provide sales input in support of the growth planning process.
  • Manage sales funnel and forecasts in internal tools/systems.
  • Manage customer relationships on multiple levels with key stakeholders in the customer’s corporate and regional organizations.


  • 3-5 years software sales experience
  • Proven track record of consistent overachievement of sales goals and exceeding revenue expectations in a high-accountability environment
  • Value based selling experience
  • APM experience is a plus, but not necessary
  • Strong, demonstrable presentation skills
  • Collaborative team selling (leveraging SEs and Solution Specialists to advance the sales process)
  • Candidate required to be in greater Seattle area and required to be onsite at Microsoft 3+ days per week
